When should I replace the old runners of my Hokowase strawberries with the new runners

They have cropped well. When should I replace the old plants with the new runners?

Hi Margo.

If you wish to multiply your plants from the mother plant, do it is the first year before they fruit, while the incidence of viral disease is still low. Of course it is always advisable to purchase new virus-free plants.
