How do I treat caterpillars and grasshoppers on my lime trees in Darwin?

Can I treat in the wet? It has been raining every day for the past couple of weeks here :)

Fruit and Citrus • Product Advice

Large citrus butterfly larvae may be the caterpillar chomping on your lime tree leaves. All sprays need to be applied to dry foliage so if there is any creative way you can protect the tree from rain in the short term, this would be the only way you could apply a control and allow for rainfastness, that is, if the product is systemic or translaminar.
