It does sound as though there may have been a sap sucking insect attacking your passionfruit. Aphids, thrips and mites can cause such damage. These pests can be controlled by regularly spraying with Yates Nature's Way Vegie & Herb Spray Concentrate. This product will target the pest, suffocating it and killing it. It is a natural product which has no withholding period. The fertilisers you have been using are quite acceptable and will give the vine the necessary nutrients it will need to produce further flowers and fruit.
