The fungus called Anthracnose can cause small black spots on the leaves which will eventually cover the whole leaf. It will be necessary to control this fungus early as the fungus can spread to the flowers and fruit. Another fungus called Bacterial Black Spot can also present itself as black spots on the leaf surface. This can be controlled by applying Yates Leaf Curl Copper Fungicide Spray every 4 weeks from early flowering to fruit set. I have attached a link on both of these diseases. http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/120114/blight-disease-mango.pdf
