Why is my lilly pilly suddenly dying

In our front garden we have a large ginger plant...and next to that we have the lillypilly and a privot bush (died 1 mth ago)and now the lillypilly is losing its leaves.

Hi Helen,

The leaves of the lillypilly look quite badly chewed similar to the damage caused by a possum. Also have a close look for caterpillars in the early morning or in the evening. Use some Yates Dynamic Lifter Liquid Concentrate. It's an organically certified fertiliser, which contains seaweed, blood&bone and fish meal to help developing new roots and restoring healthy growth. Yates has a wonderful new product available - Yates Possum Repellent Spray helps protect your precious plants by deterring possums from browsing on sprayed plants.
Contains a special combination of ingredients that help reduce possums browsing on plants.
Lasts for up to 7 days or more with regular re-treatment.
Can be used on ornamental and edible plants and has only a 1 day withholding period.
The formulation was developed by Professor Lynne Selwood and is protected by a patent granted to the University of Melbourne.
