What are these little bumps on the new leaves of my Lilly Pillys?
I have little bumps on the new leaves of my lilli pilli plants.
Dear Trina,
The little bumps on the new growth of your lilly pillies are psyllids. These sap sucking insects create little gall like structures which are unslightly so pruning this damage is the best solution.
These pests take advantage of weak and stressed plants. Help your plants to stay healthy by keeping the soil moist and feeding them regularly with Yates Dynamic Lifter Soil Improver & Plant Fertiliser. Psyllid resistant varieties of lilly pillies are also available.
