how to get rid of this?

Australian Natives • Pests

Hi Janet,

It does appear to be psyllid damage or leaf miner damage that is appearing on the foliage of your bottlebrush shrubs. It is obviously just attacking the new foliage so you will need to protect that foliage when it appears. These pests take advantage of weak and stressed plants. Help your plants to stay healthy by keeping the soil moist and feeding them regularly with Yates Dynamic Lifter Soil Improver & Plant Fertiliser. Psyllid resistant varieties of lilly pillies are also available.
