Advice re leaf eating pest
I spoke to someone on the phone this morning who said they could perhaps identify leaf eating pests I have on a particular plant, would appreciate any help I have attached the photos as requested. Many thanks
Hi Sue,
Thank you for contacting Yates.
The pest is Pittosporum beetles. As we don't have any products in our range that are registered for this purpose, the best advice we can provide for control is to use a hand removal method. This is best done in the late afternoon when the beetles are not as fast moving. Get a bucket of soapy water handy place underneath the trees branches. Shake the branch to remove any of the beetles and drop them into the bucket of water.
