How do I control Ink spot fungus disease on my Kangaroo Paws

How do I control Ink spot fungus disease on my Kangaroo Paws?

Australian Natives • Diseases

Hi Malcolm,

Thank you for contacting us. The Australian National Botanical Gardens suggest this fungus is difficult to treat and they have given some recommendations such as to remove the badly affected parts and burn them to avoid further spread. They have also recommended using copper oxichloride as a fungicide. Please check below link. https://www.anbg.gov.au/anigozanthos/ You may try using Yates Leaf Curl Copper Fungicide Spray (which contains copper oxichloride). We do not guarantee any results since this product is not recommended/tested on ink spot fungus on Kangaroo paw plant. For more information please check these below link. Hope this information is helpful, if you do have further queries do let us know. Kind regards, Eric Yates Horticulturalist
