The lawn was laid properly 18months ago with sand/soil, no onion weed etc. It gets light foot traffic to the garage on weekends. The lawn was fantastic up until about May this year and then started going brown, not in round patches but in significant areas. Do you have any suggestions? Please see photo attached.

Do you know whether there was any drainage pipes laid prior to the turf being put down? Buffalo is susceptible to a disease called grey leaf spot and this can sometimes occur on newly laid lawn. The spot is oval shaped and grey in shape and occurs on the leaf blade. The weather was very wet over summer and many backyards did not dry out. We have had a very cold winter and the buffalo may be struggling to grow. As the weather warms up over the next 2 months the buffalo will start to grow and will respond well to fertiliser in mid Sept.
