Can you use oak dried leaves as mulch on Azaleas?

I have silky oak dried leaves can I use them as mulch for my azaleas

Hi Lola,

In theory yes, but they may start to take nutrient from the soil as they break down. Also, many people are affected by this tree, so you might want to keep that in mind. If you collect them up and allow them to rot down on a compost heap or to make some leaf mould, then they can be used as a mulch. Kind regards Ben
