Should I use 'Thrive Granular Citrus Food' or 'Acticote Fruit, Citrus, Trees & Shrubs' for my citrus & pots

I heard on Better Homes and Gardens that citrus need to be fertilised each season. I am unsure which product to use. Can 'Thrive Granular Citrus Food' also be used for other potted plants like the 'Yates Acticote Fruit, Citrus, Trees & Shrubs' can?

Hi Tim,

Thrive Natural Pelletised Plant Food For Fruit and Citrus is the one you should be using on your pots. It is a slow release fertiliser that has been specifically formulated to feed citrus as well as other plants in pots. As you water your pots, the fertiliser will slowly release and feed your plants. The Thrive Granular Citrus Food is too concentrate for use in pots. It is perfectly okay for use on citrus in the ground as it is applied over a larger surface area.
