There are big patches of white spots on trunk of my pomegranate tree ?

Pomegranate tree disease

The white patches on your tree sound like they may be lichen. This is a symbiotic relationship between algae and fungi. They do not harm the tree, so there is no need to remove them. If they look unsightly, you can use a brush to gently brush them away, taking care not to damage the trunk.
