Hi I want to propagate cuttings from of a carnation, can I use Yates CLonex rooting hormone Purple"

Propagating Flowers cuttings

To propagate carnations, we recommend you do this during the warmer months, i.e., spring or summer, using the soft tip growth as your cutting material. Remove the lower leaves, dip the ends into Yates Clonex Rooting Hormone Purple and insert them into a pot filled with a well-drained mix, like Yates Seed Raising Mix. Cover with a plastic bag or similar to help maintain warmth and humidity, and water regularly to keep the soil moist.
