Why does my dracaena have yellow tips?

The tips of My Dracaena Black Knight have turned yellow, could you tell me what could be causing this please? It is growing in a pot.

Hi Linda,

It sounds like it could be a watering issue. Dracaenas don't like to have wet feet, particularly during the cooler months of the year. You might like to check the drainage holes in the pot to make sure they are not blocked. Lessen the watering now and check the soil each time before watering again. Regular applications of Seaweed Booster will help to keep the plant healthy. In spring, a slow release fertilser such as Acticote for Pots can be applied or if you prefer a liquid organic fertiliser such as Dynamic Lifter.
