How do I take cuttings from my federation star flannel flower

I have a federation star flannel flower which is strong and healthy and flowers for a long period. I would like to take cuttings from it but have not been successful. What is the best time to take cuttings and how big and from where on the plant?

Hi Marilyn,

using Clonex purple or a cutting powder, tip cuttings about 6cm long with the very soft end part of the tip cut off will strike well in a warm, misted propagating environment in a 25%peat 75%sand mix. Best done in individual cell trays so the roots aren't disturbed when planting up.
