Why are the green catepillars eating my mint
I have green 'loop' caterpillars stripping the leaves from my otherwise healthly mint plant. I have tried vege dust which seems to have had no effect. I have also tried removing the caterpillars by hand (about 5-6 a day) but more seem to appear the next day. I have now noticed cocoons under some leaves so am removing these as well. I give the plant liquid fertiliser fortnightly. Can you offer any suggestions as to how to get rid of them please?
Hi Anne,
Thank you for contacting us regarding Looper caterpillar. Try Yates Natures Way Dipel Bio-Insecticide Spray, It is an organic certified product derived from natural occurring bacteria, there is no withholding period, great for your herb and veggies.
Hope this helps and happy gardening.
