Can you take cuttings from grafted Prunus Persica Versicolor?

I recently purchased a Prunus Persica Versicolor. It is a grafted tree but i want to take cuttings so i have rooted stock. when and how is the best way/time to propagate Prunus so maximise success?

Dear Danial,

Even if you do take cuttings, I am not sure if this particular Prunus cultivar is able to grow on its own rootstock. You could try, or perhaps look on the internet for some more information.
