What can control aphids on a dwarf nectarine besides pyrethrum spray, and that does not damage the flowers?

Aphids on nectarines/peaches are a major problem . This year, I overcame them with pyrethrum spray, but this killed the opening flowers - result, a very healthy-looking tree but no developing fruits. What else can I do?
