How do I treat my cherry tree for cherry slug as the leaves are curled up and brown

Do you need to spray more than once?

Fruit and Citrus • Pests

Hi Eva,

The pear and cherry slug can be controlled using Yates Success Ultra which contains a naturally occurring soil insecticide which is particularly effective against this pest. A follow up spray 7 days later may be required to ensure all the pests are controlled. The pear and cherry slugs will stop feeding immediately however they may take up to 3 days to die. The earlier you treat the pest the less foliar damage will occur, so as soon as you see the pest spray immediately.
