should a Hydrangea be planted in full sun?

Flowers and Ornamentals • Plants

Thank you for contacting Yates. Hydrangeas should be planted in dappled light or part shade - ideally they will have morning sun and protection from the hot afternoon sun. If planted in full sun, the leaves and flowers will burn.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
