Harvest by digging up all roots carefully as the smallest piece will regrow.
How to grow horseradish in a pot
Choose a pot at least 500 mm wide and 700 mm deep to encourage root growth. Position the pot in a sunny or lightly shaded spot and fill with quality potting mix, such as Yates Potting Mix with Dynamic Lifter.
Place a 15 cm long root in the potting mix in late winter/early spring, make sure the top of the root is 2.5 cm below the surface.
Water regularly as plants in pots are likely to dry out more quickly than in soil. Once the shoots appear, reduce them in number of two to three to encourage the root growth. Feed weekly with
