What are these white shoots growing in my kikuyu lawn?
the shoots are thin and have small pollination buds on end. they cover a widesread area of the lawn and dont disappear with lawn mowing

The small white filaments are the pollen bearing parts of the kikuyu flower. The rest of the flower is concealed. It can look very pretty for a short period of time.
