The Tilia tree is a member of the linden family. Known and grown in the cool to temperate regions of Australia, they are tough and upright trees, ideal for parks, avenues and larger blocks. Tolerant of many modern environments and conditions, their attractive heart-shaped leaves give yellow hues in autumn. They are also known for their attractive bark and produce pollen that is attractive to bees. Some have edible leaves/flowers.
