Liquidammbars, also known as ‘Sweet Gum’, are deciduous trees that develop glorious yellow, orange, red and burgundy maple-like autumn leaves even in mild climates. They can be large trees, suitable for very large gardens and parks. Slightly smaller varieties are also available, however they still require lots of room and need to be planted away from paths and structures as their roots can be invasive..
