Tracey
I have a weed in my lawn that I thought was creeping oxalis, but on researching I dont think it is.

It is clover like ,spreading but on thicker stems and produces burrs and yellow flowers

Answer: Dear Tracey,

It could be that you have bindii in your lawn. I have attached a link to our website which gives a good description of this weed.

http://www.yates.com.au/problem-solver/problems/bindii/

It does have a green/yellow flower and it does produce a burr. If it is bindii, it is too late at this time of year to eradicate this weed with a herbicide. The seed would have already fallen into the ground and will germinate next autumn. It is important that you use a product such as BuffaloPro during next winter to kill off this weed otherwise you will more bindii next spring.

If you are still unsure of this weed, just send us a photo and we can investigate further.
