I have 2 roses that need to be relocated, sideways about 2 metres. When is the best time to move them

Answer: Hi Lorraine,
The best time to move the roses is during the dormant season ie July/ August. If you live in a area that regularly gets frost wait until August. Remove as much root ball as possible and prune the branches into a vase shape.

Place straw or mulch around the rose once it has been transplanted.
