Can you please recommend a horticultural oil to spray lemons that have dry brown flesh.

Answer: Hi Wendy,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your lemon. Dry brown flesh could cause by fruit flies, which sting your fruits and lay eggs inside that cause the browning and drying. Try Yates Nature’s Way Fruit Fly Control. It works by tricking the insect into absorbing the spinosad that has been combined with an irresistible bait.

If you have any further questions, or perhaps think there might be other potential factors at play here, please don’t hesitate to contact us again.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Louise
