Medium_pict0011 Something is eating my marjoram, parsley and violet leaves. Would it be a possum or possibly a bandicoot?

My large violet patch has been eaten down to the stalks (Picture attached); parsley, geranium leaves and spinach seedlings likewise. I have put down snail pellets though I have not seen any trails. What can you suggest?

Answer: Hi Judith,
Possums and bandicoots will eat the lovely soft foliage of violets. Generally Bandicoots will dig holes throughout the back yard. Also have you seen any rabbits in the area?

You can apply a product such as Deter or Poss Off to the foliage and this will help reduce the damage. The product will need to reapplied after rain or watering.
