Kathleen
Something is eating my recently planted cat nip & cat mint.

I recently planted a small garden for my cat and he loved it from day one. I planted cat grass, mint and nip. They are all growing well except now something has eaten nearly all of the cat mint leaves. As my cat eats and lies here I am worried about what I can use to spray in this area.

Answer: Dear Kathleen,

As your cat eats and lies in this area, the safest method of getting rid of these caterpillars is hand removal. I can appreciate that this might be a little tedious, but if you monitor your plants on a daily basis. I am sure you will soon get the caterpillar population under control.
