Thank you for contacting Yates.

Crows and other birds can be very difficult to control in the home garden.

Unfortunately, there is no “silver bullet” as such to protect your crop. The best results that I have had with my own crop are using old cds to hang around the garden area, netting and the good old scarecrow.

There is a product on the market at the moment that is run by a sensor and sprays water on the pest when it is set off. I am not sure of the effectivness of this product but it does sound like an excellent option to assist with the pest control.

Hopefully, you can get them under control and enjoy your crop of watermelons.
