Is Yates success ultra insect control suitable to treat Lili Pili's with pimples on the new leaf growth?

Submitted: 06:58AM, 02 Dec 2016
Answer: Hi Michael,

Thank you for contacting Yates, sounds like your Lilly pilly has been attacked by Psyllids, a tiny sap sucking insects that can cause the pimples. Unfortunately success ultra is not registered for the pest, try Confidor tablets. By inserting into soil, the tablets slowly break down and the active ingreidient (Imidacloprid) is absorbed by the plant’s roots and moves up through the system to protect the foliage from insect attack systemically for up to 6-12 months.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
Louise
