Have grow flowers and veg's from seed for years .The thing is the seed grow to thin then the seedlings flop over ,also it take;s along time 3 weeks for the second leafs to form .Have planted out with no second leaf's some grow most dye ?Why? tu Doug

Answer: Hi Douglas, your seedlings are suffering from lack of light. They should be sprouted in a warm protected area with no more than 25% shadecloth or equivalent in the hotter months. When the first set of true leaves appears start using a 1/2 strength solution of thrive or aquasol soluble fertiliser.
