my portwine magnolias are not growing to well ,the leaves are also yellowing

Port wine magnolias do like good drainage so check that this is the case and improve the drainage if required.

Yellowing leaves can indicate a nutrient deficiency and the fact that they are not growing well could suggest that this is the case. To start with we would suggest using Yates Uplift Organic Plant Starter & Root Booster. This product, as the name suggests, is a root booster,strengthening the root system to ensure a stronger, bigger root system resulting in a healthier plant. It also helps plants to recover in a stressed situation. Once you see signs of recovery, you can then switch to another Uplift product called Uplift Organic Liquid Fertiliser.
