I have a geranium plant that has growen from a root ball left over in a pot after i removed the cuttings i had growen in there, the pot was new as was the potting mix the cuttings i had in there were of the modern kind 2 purple 1 candy pink 1 red. The pla

The only explanation I can give is perhaps some seed from another plant or weed has blown into the fresh potting mix and has germinated there.

Weeds have a habit of doing this so best to keep an eye on this invader, and if it is a weed, remove it as soon as you can.
