Limb on apple tree stripped in the wind can it be mended. What tape should I use.

Answer: Hi Judy,
If the limb has split you may need to use some budding tape and then a heavier tape over the top the hold the limb in place. Try and line up the hardwood and outer layers to allow the tree to heal. You may have to support the limb while it heals. Apply some seaweed booster or Yates Uplift to help the plant improve the root system and in turn the overall health of the plant.
