Hi, new guava tree just flowering we found a little black beetle in centre of flower can we exterminate this ?

Tree is about 2m otherwise healthy

Answer: Dear Gloria,

Seeing the tree is only 2 M high and you have only found one beetle in the flower bud, hand removal would be the best option at this stage. There is not a Yates product that is registered to control this beetle on a guava tree. I am sure with continual inspection, you will be able to keep this pest under control.
