Answer: Hi Debbie,

Thank you for contacting us regarding passionfruit. Lack of water and nutrients is more likely what has caused the yellowing and empty fruits. I would suggest watering regularly by keep the soil moist but not water logged and fertiliser regularly with Try Yates Thrive Citrus & Fruit Natural Fish & Seaweed+ Concentrate during flower and fruit season, the dual acting formula feed through both leaves and roots to boost healthy growth and prolific fruits.

You will also need to watch out a virus infection called woodiness of passionfruit which normally show faint yellow mottled leaves and thick rind. However, there is no cure for this disease.
