Hi, i am wanting to grow a avocado tree in Ringwood VIC. I would like to know if I could grow one in a large pot and also what variety/s would suit my situation? Any tips would greatly be appreciated, Cheers Frank

Answer: Hi Frank,

Thank you for contacting us regarding growing Avocado tree. Bacon avocado is the most cold hardy avocado in Australian and you can grow it in a large planter box. You can prepare soil by digging in Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food, which is a manure based organic fertiliser, and will provide all the nutrients (nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus) for your plants need to grow and thrive.
