My young orange tree is producing extremely large leaves (approx 4 times larger than normal). Why?

This has only started since the tree produced a fruit ( which disappeared - probably a cockatoo). the tree has been in the ground for approx. 12 months.

Answer: Hi Nicole,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your citrus tree. Firstly I would suggest checking the oversize growth is not coming out from the root stock, which you will need to trim off. Another possible cause is lack of light and by placing the tree in a full sun growing condition would be the solution. Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you think there might be other potential factors.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
