Your site recommends feeding a mulberry tree with dynamic lifter. When do you recommend we feed it?

The tree is in Melbourne reasonably mature and at least 10 years old. The tree looks beautiful in winter but the leaves often dry and crinkle up by mid summer get spotty and looks unattractive. Probably worse this year.

Answer: Dear Michael,

Dynamic Lifter is an excellent fertiliser which can be applied to a mulberry tree along with any other fruiting tree. The best time to apply this fertiliser is in spring and again in autumn. Make sure that your mulberry tree is well watered particularly during the hot summer months and place a mulch around the tree to conserve water in the tree’s root system.
