Is there any difference between Thrive Citrus Food and Dynamic Lifter for Citrus

I have a potted Lotsa Lemons tree that I have been told to use Dynamic Lifter for Citrus on as a feeder twice a year. I see on this website that Thrive Citrus Food is recommended quite a bit. Is there a difference?

Answer: Dear Saffronne,

Thrive Citrus Food is a granular fertiliser which contains the necessary nutrients and trace elements required to produce good strong growth and juicy fruit.

Because it is a granular fertiliser it is intended for use on citrus trees that are planted in the ground and is not suitable for use on citrus in pots. It is applied in early spring and then again in late summer around the dripline of the tree.

Dynamic Lifter for Fruit & Citrus is an organic-based plant food that releases nutrients over a longer period of time. This fertiliser can be applied to both fruit trees planted in the ground and also in pots. This product is also applied in early spring before growth flush and again in late summer. The rate of application is lower in pots than for those trees planted in the ground.
