My lilly pilly trees have large green blots/spots on the trunks towards the bottom - never seen this before.

Answer: Hi Gai,

It could be that there is lichen growing on the trunk of your lillypilly. It would be good if you could send us a photo. I have attached a link with photos of lichen growing on trees. Perhaps you could compare your tree to these photos. In any case, lichen is nothing to worry about. It does in fact indicate there good clean air.
