Medium_rsz_2016-10-31_190424 Lilly Pilly Leaves stopped growing

I have a lilly pilly that has almost stopped growing after 10+ years leaves have thinned significantly, not sure if it has some disease or needs some treatment, the lilly pilly next to it is still healthy. the trunk does seem to have had some injury in the past but appears to have recovered trunk damage photo here https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qkd2ezarnjcsna/2016-10-31%2019.04.43.jpg?dl=0

Answer: Hi Chad,

Thank you for contacting Yates, if the tree trunk has been damaged it could be partially ring barked which enables the tree to access valuable water and nutrients, unfortunately there is not much you can do with the injury. I would suggest pruning the tree crown back to 1/3 to encourage more growth and feeding the tree with some Dynamic Lifter Liquid which contains seaweed, blood&bone and fish meal to help developing new roots and restoring healthy growth. You can see more of the product from the following link: http://www.yates.com.au/products/fertilising/organic-based/dynamic-lifter-liquid-concentrate/#Qx0uRGmjMkTuwiLL.97

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
