Could you tell me if it is too late to plant freesia bulbs please?

Submitted: 01:57PM, 20 Jun 2013
Answer: If planted at this time of year, freesia bulbs will produce foliage but may not flower. These bulbs should be planted in early to mid autumn as they bloom from mid to late winter through to mid spring. If they don’t flower this year they certainly will next year. Planting bulbs is a better option than storing them until the following year.
