My Hippeastrums have not flowered for about 2 years what am i doing wrong as i have some in garden beds and some in pots thanks sandy

Answer: Dear Sandra,

If your Hippeastrums have flowered for the past 2years there is no reason why they shouldn’t continue to flower.

Did you fertilised your Hippeastrums last spring? Early November is a good time to fertilised these plants. Pick a fertiliser that has a high phosphorus and potassium content. Apply a mulch to the soil to keep in moisture, particularly during the hot summer months.
