I was given a large quantity of daff, jonq, tulip bulbs, too late to plant last year. I put them in the fridge where they have remained. Will they still be viable?

Answer: Most spring flowering bulb like to be chilled. To get tulips to flower you need to place them in the fridge for 4 to 8 weeks before you plant them out and the extented time should not affect their viability.
