Can coffee grounds be used on the lawn, if so, when can it be applied?

Lawns • Garden Jobs

We do not recommend applying coffee grounds to the lawn or the garden. While throwing coffee grounds on to the lawn - or into the garden - every now and then is not a real issue, prolonged and excessive applications can be harmful to the lawn and soil organisms.

If you want to fertilise your lawn, the best thing to do is apply a balanced fertiliser specially designed for lawns, such as Yates Dynamic Lifter Organic Lawn Food.
