Can my dogs go straight back into an area that's been treating with Yates Blitz-Em Ant, Flea & Tick Killer for a flea infestation?

Hi Yates, I seen you recommended on another post to use Yates Blitz-Em Ant, Flea & Tick Killer for a flea infestation in the backyard. I was wondering if the dogs can go straight back into the yard after the treatment or how long should I wait? I have moved to a new area and having trouble getting rid of the fleas that are already there, but I can't really take the dogs out of the yard. Thank you

Hello Brittney,

Safe use of the product will depend on all of the label directions being followed carefully. Product information is available here: And the product label is available to view here: As long as the label directions are followed carefully, you should minimise any risk to the dogs. No waiting or withholding period is specified, however I would expect that by thoroughly watering the treated soil area as directed and allowing to dry before letting the dogs return, the chances of direct contact with the dogs would be minimal.
