How do I control borers that are killing my palm trees?
The affected trees sometimes ooze a sap from holes in the trunk and the emerging frond is dead. On cutting open the trunk of an infected tree much of the inner tissue around the holes has been eaten away.
Hi David,
Unfortunately I cannot suggest a product that will control the borers in your palms. It would be best to contact an aborist who hopefully will be able look at your palms and suggest a treatment for them. I have attached a link which I hope will be of interest to you.
